Hypnosis Spiral

This utility simulates the Motion Aftereffect (MAE): a sensory phenomenon where the brain’s motion-detecting neurons become fatigued.

Instructions

  1. Maintain a steady gaze on the central point for 20–30 seconds.
  2. Try not to blink or scan the edges of the spiral.
  3. Immediately shift your gaze to a static object or a textured surface.

Note: You will perceive the static object as if it is expanding or contracting. This effect is a temporary byproduct of neural adaptation and will fade within seconds.
